Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Director 2, Organization Effectiveness (OE) for the Aeronautics Systems Sector will serve as a strategic leader bridging enterprise OE strategy with business sector execution. This position works in close partnership with the OE Center of Excellence (CoE) and HR Business Leaders to drive organizational design, change management, talent optimization, learning, and performance management. This full-time position will report to the Vice President, Human Resources for Aeronautics Systems, and will be full-time on-site in Melbourne, FL. Key Responsibilities: Lead and continually build a high-performing team of 12-14 Organization Effectiveness consultants who deliver leadership, change management, succession and talent management and organization design and transformation solutions. Act as a liaison to the enterprise talent team to shape the company approach to talent and organization effectiveness and implement supporting programs and processes as needed in the business. Champion digital transformation and adoption of enterprise-wide OE systems, tools, and processes to support the business. Share best practices with enterprise peers and leadership to support organizational growth and innovation. Design and deliver organizational learning strategies and leadership enablement programs in support of organizational priorities. Drive continued learning and adoption of organization effectiveness best practices to enable business strategy. Shape and drive the culture agenda, translating enterprise values and leadership expectations into practical behaviors, expectations, and systems embedded in day-to-day work. Advise senior leaders on organizational design, structure, and role clarity to align capabilities and resources with strategic objectives. Design and oversee change management strategies for critical enterprise and sector-level initiatives, integrating communications, training, stakeholder engagement, and sustainment plans. Create feedback loop for continuous improvement as a result of the change. Lead initiatives to improve the employee experience (e.g., onboarding, career development, performance enablement), aligning them with culture and business strategy. Facilitate design sessions and working sessions to align leadership teams on strategy, operating model, and organizational priorities. Design and manage the sector talent management, succession and talent development strategy. Align key leadership development plans to organizational outcomes that build capability and competency. Assess organizational challenges in partnership with HR and design and implement comprehensive solutions to enhance performance. Design and facilitate leadership and team engagements, training, and other learning experiences. Identify HR enablement opportunity areas and develop solutions to improve speed to ramp, efficiency and performance. Identify performances gaps and implement data-driven outcomes. Facilitate assessments to identify and address opportunities to improve leader and team effectiveness. Consult with HR and senior leaders on best practices in organization, team and leader effectiveness, including culture and change. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required plus 12 years of relevant experience in HR or related field OR Master’s degree plus 10 years of relevant experience. Excellent leadership skills to drive team performance and create positive employee experience. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior leaders and influence across boundaries to drive strategy and approach. Advanced consulting skills with the demonstrated ability to scope problems, recommend practical solutions, gain client buy-in, and deliver desired results. Demonstrated experience leading organizational interventions from assessment to implementation. Broad experience applying best practices in organization, team and leadership effectiveness to address business issues and enhance performance. Experience leading large-scale change initiatives to support business strategy. Demonstrated experience designing and facilitating leadership and team engagements to meet client objectives. Strong business acumen with a focus on how to use talent processes and tools to accelerate business results. Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders at all levels. Demonstrated aptitude for learning and flexibility to manage multiple projects/clients simultaneously, mitigate and escalate risk, adapt to shifting priorities, and navigate ambiguous situations. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance as a condition. Preferred Qualifications: Degree in Organization Development or related field. Certificate in coaching or certified executive coach. Prior experience as an internal or external consultant in a complex, matrixed organization. Prior experience in Human Resources, Organization Effectiveness or Talent Management roles. Prior experience with and/or certifications in common assessments and models related to organization development and leadership and team effectiveness. Experience working with highly skilled technical talent. Primary Level Salary Range: $190,100.00 - $285,100.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
