As the Outpatient Therapist , you will provide individualized mental health services to youth and families through therapy, assessment, diagnosis, and care coordination. Services are delivered in homes, schools, or other community locations to increase accessibility and engagement. ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH CLINICS San Benito Children’s Outpatient Clinic provides Specialty Mental Health Services to children and youth in San Benito County. Services include assessment, plan development, individual rehabilitation, and individual and family therapy for all eligible children and youth. All interventions are trauma-informed, culturally responsive, flexible, and targeted toward the specific needs of each youth and family. Our program builds upon and enhances the strengths of children and families, accelerating their progress toward attaining stability, improving their relational skills, self-sufficiency, and long-term success. Services are provided in our San Benito Outpatient clinic, with flexibility to occasionally provide services in our local schools. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide child, family and/or group therapy utilizing culturally informed and best practice modalities Work in partnership with children, youth and families to determine their goals within therapy Promptly respond to referrals of children and adolescents who present with symptoms of psychiatric disorders Complete assessment and evaluation process of assigned clients including: obtaining consents for all aspects of treatment, obtaining relevant documents and meeting/speaking with various adults or professionals involved in the client’s life to develop and implement the treatment plan Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, providing therapy services and coordinating care with families, schools, and community providers Maintain availability for crisis intervention services and complete incident reports in adherence to agency timeline Complete documentation in compliance with all requirements and timely reviews of all assigned cases Participate in individual and group supervision QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Master’s degree in Counseling/Social Work/Psychology Registered with California BBS: ASW, AMFT, APCC, or full licensed Flexible schedule with the ability to work some evenings Must be at least 21 years of age Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Seneca Family of Agencies’ insurance policy TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements PREFERRED: Bilingual Spanish skill set Experience working with children in out-of-home care Good organizational and critical-thinking skills SCHEDULE Full-time; Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm Ability to work some evenings based on client schedule Expectation to work into the evening 2 times per week BENEFITS Starting at $79,568 - $93,568 per year, commensurate rate with experience Additional $4000 salary increase for BBS licensure Additional compensation upon passing the bilingual language proficiency exam Salary increase every year $2,000 sign-on bonus Relocation assistance may be available 5 weeks of Paid Time Off and 11 Paid Holidays Comprehensive benefits package: Medical, dental, vision, chiropractic, acupuncture, fertility coverage Long-term disability, family leave, and life insurance 50% paid premiums for dependents 403b Retirement Plan Employer-paid Employee Assistance Plan Seneca is a Public Service Loan Forgiveness certified employer Seneca supports clinicians towards licensure and beyond: We provide individual and group clinical supervision, regular clinical case conferences, and licensure and renewal courses led by field experts Expenses such as outside trainings or licensure fees can be mitigated through your clinical training stipend Promotional opportunities across the agency in California
