Packing Sales Engineer

Position: Packing Sales Engineer

Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Packing Sales Engineer to join their team!

This is a hands-on, customer-facing opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical knowledge with sales impact. In this role, you will help customers better understand product performance, support packaging evaluations, and deliver technical presentations that drive solutions and close business. You’ll work closely with commercial, quality, training, and technical teams in a role that offers strong visibility and room to grow.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead customer tours and technical demonstrations in the Experience Center.
• Deliver presentations tailored to technical, commercial, and executive audiences.
• Support hands-on training for internal teams and distributor representatives.
• Perform unitized-load and containment testing from start to finish.
• Interpret test results and recommend corrective packaging solutions.
• Prepare clear reports, recommendations, and customer-facing documentation.
• Travel to customer sites for testing, troubleshooting, and field demonstrations.
• Partner with sales teams to support opportunities and advance deals.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Marketing, and Training teams.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 2+ years of engineering or technical sales experience preferred.
• Background in manufacturing or a related technical environment.
• Working knowledge of stretch film and packaging applications.
• Ability to conduct and interpret lab or field testing.
• Strong presentation and customer-facing communication skills.
• Ability to write clear reports and technical recommendations.
• Comfort working independently and managing multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel up to 25-50%.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field preferred.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience in stretch film, flexible packaging, or converting.
• Knowledge of packaging systems and load stability principles.
• Experience with ISTA or EUMOS testing methods.
• Familiarity with transportation-performance testing.
• Exposure to product benchmarking or application development.
• Experience supporting field trials or packaging evaluations.
• Packaging or plastics engineering background.
