Description Located in the heart of Wenatchee Valley, Okanogan Valley and Grant County, sits LifeLine Ambulance-one of Washington State’s only remaining Primary 911 Response Companies. To the right Paramedic, LifeLine Ambulance is offering a Full-Time position in our Primary 911 Response System . Here, you will be able to practice and challenge your skills as a Paramedic. In each of our locations our employees will be offered many opportunities for outdoor recreational activities during all seasons due to a schedule that allows for optimal work-life balance. Some of these activities include rock climbing, biking, and hiking as well as paddle boarding, kayaking, skiing, and snowboarding. Our employees will also be able to take advantage of our rural lifestyle that encompasses a slower pace of life. With our 300 days of sunshine a year, our locations truly have something for anyone’s interest. Our employees enjoy a generous two days on six days off working schedule , in addition to flexible scheduling and a mix of Primary 911 calls between multiple locations. While at work, our employees are provided with state-of-the-art medical equipment and first-class stations. We offer a comprehensive benefits package for all Full-Time employees which offers: Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription, Employer Paid Life Insurance, 401K, Fitness Reimbursement, Paid Training and Uniforms, Paid Holidays (eight-if working on the holiday), Paid Vacation (one week after the first year of employment and then two weeks per year thereafter) and Paid Sick Time. PARAMEDIC- Job Description Maintain confidentiality of all patient and company information. Reports verbally and in writing/electronically, their observation and emergency medical care of the patient at the emergency scene and in transit, to the receiving medical facility staff for purposes of records and diagnostics. Assume responsibility for EMS scene in the absence of higher level staff, provide direction and supervision to other employees at an emergency medical scene; provides and directs advance life support patient care and transport. Requirements Duties and Responsibilities Must be able to lift a minimum of 100lbs. Ability to pass Washington State drivers check. Operate and maintain emergency medical apparatus and equipment. Education/Experience: High school graduate or GED EMT-Paramedic experience preferred but not required Ability to interpret local ALS protocols, company policies and procedures, and apply them in specific situations. Licenses/Certifications: Active Washington State EMT-Paramedic Certification with DOH/or completed Paramedic Training and awaiting agency affiliation to complete certification Current AHA healthcare provider CPR, ACLS, PALS Maintain/Possess current Washington State driver’s license Physical Requirements Job entails interrupted sleep, walking, sitting, standing, reaching, bending, and twisting/turning, manual dexterity, frequent lifting, use of keyboard and hand/eye coordination.
