The Division of Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Children’s Nebraska is seeking a board eligible or certified Pediatric Cardiologist with expertise in fetal cardiography to join our expanding outreach in Rapid City, SD. This clinic already has strong onsite support, including a sonographer certified in both congenital and fetal echo, a dedicated nurse, and addition staff to be added as the practice continues to expand. J-1 waiver sponsorship opportunities are available for qualified candidates.

The program based in Omaha provides the full gamut of congenital cardiology services. We currently have 32 faculty (and growing) including subspecialists in interventional catheterization, axial imaging, electrophysiology, heart failure and transplant, pulmonary hypertension, exercise physiology, and adult congenital heart disease. We have 3 congenital cardiothoracic surgeons, with dedicated congenital cardiac anesthesia, cardiac intensivists who provide 24/7 care in our newly built, 500-million-dollar expansion to the free-standing Children’s Hospital. This houses our door-to-door variable acuity cardiac care unit, state of the art MRI, CT and cardiac catheterization. Our adult congenital service is separate from the pediatric service and is fully staffed 24/7 with specialized ACHD physicians at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
