• 7 on 7 off block schedule with 24-hour shifts; approximately 175 shifts per year
• Daytime on-site coverage with overnight call responsibilities
• Integrated clinical rounding with nursing at 8:30 am for improved care coordination
• Open ICU with average patient census of 10
• On-site services include emergency care, critical care, obstetrical care, and advanced radiology
