This is a Level 3 position. However, if there are no appropriate Level 3 applicants, applications from Level 1 and 2 will be considered. The selection criteria reflects the requirements for a Level 3 applicant. Responses from Level 1 or 2 applicants need to demonstrate their level of competence with regard to the same criteria and their ability to work towards Level 3. The expected performance of the incumbent will be commensurate with his/her years of experience and current level at commencement of appointment. The incumbent will work towards meeting the criteria for Level 3.

About Your New Role

Joining the Narrabri Community Health Service team as a Physiotherapist offers a wealth of valuable experiences across diverse clinical areas. You'll work with acute inpatients, outpatients, and engage in community and outreach service provision, making this role uniquely enticing. You'll receive strong support from local senior Physiotherapists and the Northern lead for Physiotherapy, ensuring robust clinical supervision and mentoring. Additionally, you'll be connected to the broader HNE Physiotherapy network, granting you access to ongoing professional development opportunities both in person and online. This position not only offers professional growth but also the chance to make a significant impact within a dedicated and cohesive team.

About The Service

Narrabri Community Health is home to a vibrant, multidisciplinary team where the Physiotherapist is a valued and respected member. This role involves close collaboration with staff across the Community Health program and the wider multidisciplinary acute and community teams. Professional development and team collaboration are highly encouraged, with regular in-services and case discussions fostering a supportive and dynamic working environment.

The recently developed hospital in Narrabri is an excellent place to work, with the Physiotherapist engaging in various clinical areas, including inpatient, outpatient, community services, clinics, and classes.   • * Based on a minimum 18-month commitment to the position or the agreed duration of your contract. All payments to part-time and contract employees will be made on a pro-rata basis in accordance with the terms of your contract, including any approved extensions.
