What you need to know about this position:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field,
• Minimum 5 years of experience in production, preferably in polymer, chemical, synthetic fiber, carbon fiber, or related manufacturing industries,
• Proven experience in production operations, process monitoring, production planning, and team coordination,
• Good understanding of polymer production processes and manufacturing operations; experience in polymer processing is an advantage,
• Experience in monitoring and improving productivity, capacity utilization, quality, yield, waste, and production costs,
• Experience in root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities,
• Ability to analyze production data and identify opportunities for process efficiency, quality improvement, and cost reduction,
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications; experience with ERP systems is preferred,
• Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills,
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a hands-on and results-oriented approach,
• Ability to work effectively with R&D, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Planning, and other cross-functional teams,
• Proficiency in written and spoken English,
• Residing in or willing to relocate to Yalova or Karamürsel,

Job Description

• Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the polymer production area to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted production,
• Plan and organize production activities and schedules in coordination with relevant departments,
• Monitor production performance and key indicators such as productivity, capacity utilization, quality, yield, waste, and production costs,
• Identify opportunities and implement actions to improve production efficiency, product quality, process stability, and cost performance,
• Monitor production processes and operating conditions, identify deviations, and coordinate necessary corrective and preventive actions,
• Investigate production-related problems, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions,
• Coordinate with Maintenance and Engineering teams to ensure the reliability and effective operation of production equipment and systems,
• Work closely with Quality and R&D teams to address quality issues and support process and product improvement activities,
• Support the implementation and scale-up of new products, process changes, and improvement projects within the production area,
• Follow up on raw material, production, and finished product performance and take necessary actions to ensure consistent product quality,
• Identify and implement opportunities for waste reduction, energy efficiency, capacity improvement, and cost reduction,
• Ensure production activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures, quality standards, and operational requirements,
• Lead, coordinate, and develop the production team by ensuring effective task allocation, communication, performance follow-up, and adherence to work procedures,
• Prepare and maintain relevant production reports, records, and process documentation,
• Ensure a safe working environment within the responsible area and full compliance with HSE/OHS regulations, company policies, and procedures.
