THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE The Data & AI Domain is looking for a Senior Power Platform Engineer based out of Milton Keynes . Play a critical role within a dynamic team of developers, leading the design, development, and optimisation of advanced Power Platform solutions, RPA flows, and BI insights supporting key business areas across the bank. Act as a SME and mentor, shaping best practices and guiding the adoption of modern data frameworks and models to support strategic business objectives. Collaborate across disciplines, influence solution architecture, and drive innovation in how we leverage our data assets. Provides clear understanding to stakeholders / project sponsors on the impacts of change, anticipating any risks and issues and how they can be mitigated. Being accountable for delivery to the agreed budget, using escalation paths to highlight and formally agree any change required during delivery. Continuously reviews resourcing structure against programme target outcomes to ensure that this is in an optimum state. Ability to manage large sized multi-disciplined or highly technical teams often through others and where there is no line management. Proactively builds and maintains effective internal and external partnerships with stakeholders at all levels, to enhance 2-way communications and support the development of projects. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for: Leading the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of robust, scalable Power Platform solutions (including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI). Shaping and implementing best practices for Power Platform architecture, governance, and security. Overseeing solution lifecycle management, including CI/CD deployment pipelines, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. Driving continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring the stability and evolution of our Power Platform estate. Acting as a technical advisor to business stakeholders, translating high-level requirements into effective technical solutions. Professional Experience Expert-level proficiency in Power Platform components: Power BI (including Power BI Desktop, Service, Report Builder, and SSRS portal), Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), and Power Automate (cloud and desktop flows). (Required) Advanced experience with DAX, M, Power Query, and Power FX for complex data transformation and analysis. (Required) Proven track record of integrating multiple data sources (e.g., Postgres, Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, APIs) and implementing advanced data modelling and warehousing solutions. (Required) Great understanding of enterprise data architecture, data governance, and security within the Power Platform and Microsoft 365 ecosystem. (Preferred) Demonstrated experience in CI/CD pipeline management and solution ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) for Power Platform. (Preferred) Skilled at designing, developing, and deploying reusable PowerApps components and custom connectors. (Preferred) Proficient in leading solution design sessions and communicating technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. (Required) Experience delivering complex BI and automation solutions in a regulated, enterprise environment. (Required) Great analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities. (Required) Ability to work independently and collaboratively within agile squads, supporting multifunctional project delivery. (Required) Commitment to continuous learning, staying up to date with the latest Power Platform advancements and industry trends. (Preferred) Education Microsoft certifications (PL-300, PL-400, PL-600, PL-200) and/or relevant AWS/Azure certifications. Salary Range: £61,600.00 - £92,400.00 per annum (depending on experience) This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location.
