Distant Islands Allowance of £2,578 per annum
Relocation Assistance of up to £8000 available
In this key role you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Yell Health Centre, as well as directly line managing our busy Reception team. The Yell Practice is a dispensing salaried General Practice, providing medical services to a population of approximately 1,000 patients in Yell and the neighbouring island of Fetlar. The Practice is salaried and is Paper light, using EMIS and DOCMAN.

We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager who is committed to providing excellent quality service within tight performance parameters to ensure patients receive the best service possible. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of practice management processes, project management, IT and staff management, and will have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. You will also demonstrate excellent understanding of the need for confidentiality in all aspects of your work. Excellent keyboard skills and the ability to maintain a professional approach in a busy and changing environment are also essential.
