Primary Care NP – 4 Day Week Only | $95/hr + Full Benefits | Outpatient

A primary care practice in California's Central Valley is hiring an NP or PA for a four-day workweek outpatient role with full-time pay and benefits — Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, no nights, no weekends, no on-call, three-day weekends every week without exception. You'll see patients of all ages with an on-site medical director available for backup, help shape how an early-stage practice runs from the ground up, and have relocation assistance waiting if you're coming from outside the area. Strong newer providers with solid primary care RN backgrounds are welcome alongside experienced NPs and PAs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and build treatment plans for acute illnesses and chronic conditions
• Provide routine and annual exams and preventive screenings for patients of all ages
• Order, interpret, and track labs, imaging, and diagnostics
• Counsel patients on treatment plans, prevention, and medication adherence
• Collaborate with on-site medical director on complex cases and clinical questions

Qualifications

• Active California NP or PA license
• Active DEA registration required
• Approximately 2 years of primary care experience preferred — strong newer providers with solid RN or clinical primary care background welcome
• Confident running a clinic day independently with physician support available
• Current Medicare and Medicaid credentialing or ability to credential quickly a plus
• California AB 890 independent practice eligibility a plus for NPs

Schedule & Compensation

• $120,000–$146,000/year
• Full-time | Monday–Thursday | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Three-day weekends every week | No nights | No weekends | No on-call
• Outpatient only | Stockton & Sacramento, CA
