Summary of Position: Alcon is seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce solutions that meet the needs of our business. This position requires a deep understanding of Salesforce technologies and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components. Integrate Salesforce with other internal and external applications. Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce applications. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Ensure data integrity and security within the Salesforce environment. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications. Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives. Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure comprehensive solutions. Uphold code quality standards and Salesforce best practices. Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 6+ years of experience in Salesforce development with CPQ skills. Strong expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce integration. Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud , Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred: Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II). Experience with Salesforce CPQ and Billing. Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
