Principal Transport Planner

Your role We are looking for a Principal Transport Planner (Strategic Modelling) to join our team. This role will be based at our AtkinsRéalis office in Bangalore/Gurgaon, India. Appropriate academic and professional qualifications (Bachelor’s Degree with Master’s degree in transport planning / economics). Working experience (13+ years) in Transport Planning software like VISUM, SATURN, DIADEM, EMME. Experience and knowledge of Strategic Modelling techniques and guidance. Knowledge and experience in delivering transport planning/modelling projects for UK/ME/ USA/ Canada/ Australia regions. Strong Analytical skills with experience in handling and interpreting complex datasets. Experience in scripting using like Python, Excel-VBA and R. Strong understanding of ArcGIS/QGIS, PowerBI and Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work in a team as part of a wider project with no supervision. Experience in leading smaller teams as part of a project delivery. Good written communication skills. Be able to delegate the tasks. About you Be highly self-motivated and ambitious. Experience in the use of analytical and research tools such as GIS and the use of databases. Appreciation of the transport industry and related policy context.
