JOB SUMMARY The Process Engineer is responsible for leading and/or supporting, new process development and process kaizen/optimization in the areas of material storage and conveyance, inventory management, and transportation, Space planning, Capacity enhancements, Facility layout, and Capital improvement projects. This includes the evaluation and introduction of innovative technologies such as automated guided vehicles (AGV), autonomous mobile robots (AMR), and automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS) to improve labor and space efficiency. Annual Salary: $64,000 - $80,000 Lead and support new process development and kaizen initiatives for material storage, conveyance, and inventory management. Evaluate and introduce innovative technologies like AGVs, AMRs, and ASRS to improve labor and space efficiency. Conduct space planning and capacity enhancement projects to optimize facility layout. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process bottlenecks and implement effective solutions. Develop and implement process improvement plans to enhance overall operational efficiency. Analyze data and provide insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in logistics engineering. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all process development activities. Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in process engineering or a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry. Strong knowledge of logistics engineering principles and practices. Experience with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma, is preferred. Proficiency in using engineering software and data analysis tools. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment. Effective communication and presentation skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends. Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required.
