See German version below Introduction to the job In our high-tech small production runs, single part and prototype production, you will support us in the high-precision manufacture of optical components, assemblies and systems made of glass, glass ceramics and ceramics. Role and responsibilities As a Process Engineer Cleaning & Etching, you ensure stable, efficient, and future-ready manufacturing processes. Your focus: Process ownership: Independently manage an assigned cleaning or etching process and support additional sub-processes. Monitoring & optimization: Apply Lean and Six Sigma methods (e.g. SPC) to improve yield, cost, and cycle time. Implementation of improvements: Execute simple optimizations independently and support more complex process changes (incl. TGP). Process stability & availability: Ensure process availability and define maintenance strategies. Documentation & training: Create and maintain manufacturing documentation (e.g. AAWs, REZ) and train production teams. NPI & technologies: Introduce new technologies, adapt existing processes, and contribute to NPI, PCCSIM, and ramp-up projects. Risk & collaboration: Contribute to FMEA/ECR, define requirements, and collaborate closely with manufacturing, engineering, and D&E. Education and experience You hold a degree in a technical or natural science field, or bring a comparable qualification (e.g. Meister with a technical or chemical background). You gained relevant professional experience in a production and technical environment, ideally in cleaning, etching, or comparable surface/chemical processes. You have hands-on experience in cleaning and/or etching processes and understand process parameters, interactions, and tolerances. You apply methods such as Six Sigma, SPC, PDCA, and continuous improvement in practice to stabilize and optimize processes. You contribute to process optimization, manufacturing documentation, and the definition of manufacturing requirements (e.g. specifications). You are familiar with data-driven process control and analysis (e.g. SPC), ideally in interaction with production systems (e.g. MES). You navigate risk and escalation topics confidently (e.g. FMEA) and have a proven ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional production and engineering environments. You have a strong command of both written and spoken German and English. Skills You structure complex topics clearly and maintain a strong overview. Deine Aufgaben Als Prozessingenieur:in - Reinigungs- und Ätztechnologien stellst du stabile, effiziente und zukunftsfähige Fertigungsprozesse sicher. Dein Fokus: Prozessverantwortung: Selbstständige Betreuung eines Reinigungs- oder Ätzprozesses sowie Unterstützung weiterer Teilprozesse. Monitoring & Optimierung: Anwendung von Lean- und Six-Sigma-Methoden (z. B. SPC) zur Verbesserung von Yield, Kosten und Durchlaufzeit. Implementierung von Verbesserungen: Eigenständige Umsetzung einfacher Optimierungen sowie Unterstützung bei komplexeren Prozessanpassungen (inkl. TGP). Prozessstabilität & Verfügbarkeit: Sicherstellung der Prozessverfügbarkeit und Definition von Wartungsstrategien. Dokumentation & Training: Erstellung und Pflege von Fertigungsdokumenten (z. B. AAWs, REZ) sowie Schulung der Produktion. NPI & Technologien: Einführung neuer Technologien, Anpassung bestehender Prozesse sowie Mitarbeit in NPI-, PCCSIM- und Ramp-up-Projekten. Risiko & Zusammenarbeit: Mitwirkung bei FMEA/ECR, Definition von Anforderungen und enge Abstimmung mit Fertigung, Engineering sowie D&E. Deine Qualifikation Du hast ein abgeschlossenes Studium im technischen oder naturwissenschaftlichen Bereich oder bringst eine vergleichbare Qualifikation mit (z. B. Meister:in mit technischem oder chemischem Hintergrund). Du verfügst über relevante Berufserfahrung in einem technischen, produktionsnahen Umfeld – idealerweise in Reinigung, Ätzen oder vergleichbaren oberflächen- bzw. chemiebezogenen Prozessen. Du hast praktische Erfahrung in Reinigungs- und/oder Ätzprozessen und verstehst Prozessparameter, Wechselwirkungen und Toleranzen. Du wendest Methoden wie Six Sigma, SPC, PDCA und kontinuierliche Verbesserungsprozesse sicher in der Praxis an. Du bringst Erfahrung in der Prozessoptimierung, der Erstellung von Fertigungsdokumentation sowie in der Definition von fertigungstechnischen Anforderungen (z. B. Lastenhefte) mit. Du arbeitest datenbasiert und bist mit der Prozessüberwachung und -analyse (z. B. SPC) vertraut – idealerweise im Zusammenspiel mit Produktionssystemen (z. B. MES). Du gehst sicher mit Risiko- und Eskalationsthemen um (z. B. FMEA) und arbeitest nachweisbar effektiv in funktionsübergreifenden Teams aus Fertigung und Engineering. Du verfügst über sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift. Deine Kompetenzen Du strukturierst komplexe Themen klar und behältst stets den Überblick. Du gehst Herausforderungen proaktiv an und setzt Ideen eigenständig um. Du bleibst flexibel und souverän in dynamischen und sich verändernden Umfeldern.
