The Product Developer is responsible for managing the development process of garments, from initial design concepts to production-ready samples, ensuring that designs are feasible, and meet quality standards.

WHAT WILL YOU INVOLVE

• Collaborate with the Sales team to collect design requirements, such as materials, style, colors, and specifications.
• Review design ideas to ensure they can be made and are practical for production.
• Work with designers, technical teams, and suppliers to create product samples and fix sample-making issues
• Work with the purchasing team to source fabrics, trims, and other materials that match the design and cost requirements.
• Plan and track the development process
• Review samples to ensure they meet the design and quality standards.
• Research new materials, trends, and technologies to improve future products.

WHAT WE NEED YOU HAVE

• Experienced in product development, sample merchandising, sample development or similar role in the garment/ textile/footwear industry.
• Good command in English.
• Good knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and production process.
• Ability to communicate and convey information clearly and effectively.
• Organizational skills, progress monitoring, and time management.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented.
