PharOS is seeking for a Production and Packaging Planning Coordinator within the Planning department as follows:
Role and Responsibilities
Production Planning
- Maintains short-term and medium-term manufacturing and packaging schedules.
- Coordinates production plans based on customer demand, inventory targets, capacity constraints, and material availability.
- Monitors schedule adherence and identifies potential risks to production execution.
- Supports the prioritization and rescheduling of production activities when required.
Planning Coordination
- Collaborates closely with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Supply Chain teams.
- Ensures production orders are released according to the agreed planning schedule.
- Participates in daily and weekly planning meetings.
- Communicates schedule changes and potential supply risks to relevant stakeholders.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Maintains planning data within ERP and planning systems.
- Generates and analyzes planning KPIs, including: Schedule Adherence, Plan Attainment, Service Level
- Prepares reports and presentations for management review.
Planning Process Development
- Supports the design, implementation, and standardization of planning processes across Manufacturing and Packaging operations.
- Assists in defining planning policies, planning parameters, master data requirements, and governance practices.
- Participates in cross-functional projects aimed at improving planning effectiveness and operational performance.
- Helps establish a culture of data-driven decision-making within the Planning function.
Continuous Improvement
- Actively contributes to the development and implementation of planning processes and procedures.
- Identifies opportunities to improve planning accuracy, production flow, and inventory performance.
- Supports ERP optimization, system enhancements, and digitalization initiatives within the planning function.
- Participates in Lean, Six Sigma, and Operational Excellence projects.
Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering/ Chemical Engineering / Supply Chain Management/ Operations Management/ Business Administration or other scientific, engineering, or technical disciplines
- Five (5) years of experience in Production Planning, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, or related functions.
- Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing industries is preferred but not essential.
- Recent graduates with strong academic records and internship experience may be considered.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) is an advantage.
- Understanding of production processes and supply chain principles.
- Ability to analyze large data sets and convert information into actionable plans.
- Knowledge of Power BI or similar reporting tools is considered a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
