What You’ll Get To Do: The Flight Systems Futures operating unit within Strategic Deterrent Systems is seeking highly motivated talent to join a team at the forefront of next-generation hypersonic capabilities. Our team focuses on the design, development, and demonstration of hypersonic re-entry vehicles and advanced payloads, with an emphasis on rapid development and prototyping aligned to specific customer missions. We operate in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment where innovative concepts are matured quickly into credible, testable solutions that address our nation’s most demanding strategic deterrence needs. This role will be the program manager for one of our upcoming programs. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. You’ll Bring These Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience; master's degree and 6 years’ experience or an additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree. Must be a U.S citizen and have an active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope,(<6yrs) with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period. Experience in project management/ execution and closeout Experienced in Earned Value Management (EV) in an applicable system These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: Executive presence and comfort in communications at that level Background/experience in rapid development and prototyping Background/experience in ICBM programs Experience with test planning and coordination Experienced people leadership that includes performance management, career development, staffing, and merit planning SAP briefed PMP Certificate Current Northrop Grumman CAM Certification Current Program Access Request (PAR) Functional and/or Assignment manager experience Supplier Management experience 6 years of experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles and application or as a Cost Account Manager (CAM) Functional and/or Assignment manager experience Program Management Experience Supplier Management experience Outstanding verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability in prioritizing multiple tasks Demonstrated ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization and with outside organizations Primary Level Salary Range: $0.00 - $0.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
