As the Program Supervisor , you'll lead a dedicated team providing day treatment short-term stabilization services to youth as they build the skills needed to thrive at home, in school, and in their community. You'll oversee clinical quality, program operations, staff development, and safety while ensuring a supportive and engaging treatment environment. In partnership with leadership, you will strengthen key relationships and support the continued success of the program. ABOUT STEP The STEP (Skills, Transitions, Exploration and Progress) Program is located in Salinas, CA. STEP provides intensive, day treatment short-term stabilization services to youth, ages 12 - 17, for an average of 15 days. Our goal is to reintegrate our youth into schools and the community with lower levels of outpatient mental health treatment. All groups are designed to teach youth the skills necessary to help them learn about their mental health, provide psychoeducation, and help them learn skills to feel better and be safe. RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee the overall quality of the assigned Day Treatment Intensive location Perform personnel functions including overseeing the program development, interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluation of all staff Participate in regular meetings with collaborating community partners Maintain positive relationships with referral sources Prepare and submit all necessary program reports Meet at least weekly with the Program Director Approve documentation including incident reports, mental health notes, DSM-V diagnoses, treatment plans, and other clinical documents Address individual training needs for team members Provide support including facilitation or co-facilitation of group session, conducting risk assessments, facilitating intakes and family therapy sessions, and holding client cases as needed Utilize crisis communication and de-escalation techniques as per Seneca's crisis response training QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Master’s degree in Psychology/Counseling/Social Work, or related subject area Licensed with California BBS: LSW, LMFT, or LPCC 3 years of experience in crisis program or related field Management experience At least 21 years of age TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and insurability through Senecas’ insurance policy SKILLS OF AN IDEAL CANDIDATE: Demonstrated ability to design and implement program improvement initiatives Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills Ability to work on multidisciplinary team SCHEDULE Full-time Monday - Friday, 8AM - 4PM BENEFITS Starting at $87,914 - $101,914 per year, commensurate with experience Actual salary is dependent on creditable experience above the minimum qualifications for the role Additional compensation provided upon passing bilingual language proficiency exam Salary increase each year $2,000 sign-on bonus for new Seneca employees Mileage reimbursement Relocation assistance may be available 5 weeks of Paid Time Off and 11 Paid Holidays Comprehensive benefits package: Medical, dental, vision, chiropractic, acupuncture, fertility coverage Long-term disability, family leave, and life insurance 50% paid premiums for dependents 403b Retirement Plan Employer-paid Employee Assistance Plan Seneca is a Public Service Loan Forgiveness certified employer Seneca supports clinicians towards licensure and beyond: We provide individual and group supervision, regular clinical case conferences, and licensure and renewal courses led by field experts Expenses such as outside trainings or licensure fees can be mitigated through your clinical training stipend Promotional opportunities across the agency in California
