Role Definition: Implementing solutions for new and existing manufacturing projects, including design, commissioning, debugging and handover. Responsibilities: Overseeing controls and robotics equipment and building systems that meets safety/electrical and controls standards. Communicating and leadership of suppliers, technical support to address equipment or infrastructure disruptions. Performing routine-to-complex engineering work potentially on multiple or large facilities. Manages planning, execution and control of small to medium scope facilities projects. Provides products and services to clients requirements. Degree Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing/programming/robotics or any related engineering degree. Looks for and considers non-verbal cues from individuals and groups. Plant Facilities Management: Performs the implementation of automation projects, from design concept to handover. Interprets facilities-related reports and explains record-keeping requirements. Works with addressing electrical / controls requirements of a manufacturing plant. Assesses potential security or safety risks, MRA and notifies appropriate team members. Follows access and security control procedures and equipment. Problem Solving: Identifies and documents specific problems and resolution alternatives. Examines a specific problem and understands the perspective of each involved stakeholder. Develops alternative techniques for assessing accuracy and relevance of information. Helps to analyze risks and benefits of alternative approaches and obtain decision on resolution. Uses fact-finding techniques and diagnostic tools to identify problems. Process Management: Employs process flows, cycle time, process time and waste concepts as appropriate. Walks through steps, decisions, measurements, dependencies and hand-offs for a specific process. Creates process flow or work flow diagrams. Documents types of process decisions and potential impact of each decision. Identifies and monitors common process bottlenecks. Project Management: Provides input for Gantt or PERT charts or their equivalent to track project progress and status. Under guidance, plans and estimates simple projects. Assists in detailed project plans including cost, schedule, and resource requirements. Obtains information from stakeholders during the planning stage of a project. Produces standard project status reports. Technical Troubleshooting: Discovers, analyzes and resolves hardware, software, or application problems. Works with vendor-specific diagnostic guides, tools, and utilities. Handles calls related to product features, applications, and compatibility standards. Analyzes code, logs, and current systems as part of advanced troubleshooting. Records and reports specific technical problems, solving processes and tools that have been used. Top candidates may also possess: Master of Science in Automation Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Science in Manufacturing Systems, Robotics and Automation, or related to the field. Expert in process automation technologies, such as PLC programming (AB,SIEMENS) robotics(FANUC,KUKA), or digital manufacturing tools. Proven track record in implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies to enhance quality and productivity. Strong analytical skills to identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction. Ability to lead cross-functional teams in the development and deployment of automated solutions. Familiarity with data collection and analysis systems for monitoring and improving process performance. Excellent communication skills to drive engagement and training related to new automation initiatives. Additional Information: Location: Cienega de Flores, Santa Catarina, Nuevo Leon. This position is five-day a week in-office model, from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (occasionally weekend support) Sponsorship for foreign candidates is not available.
