Tasks
Organize and develop system areas for new builds and refits
Define scope for construction of the exterior outfitting areas, required deliveries, and services
Support construction planning and technical specifications
Accompany supplier negotiations and oversee order processing
Participate in FAT, HAT, and SAT events
Act as interface to other engineering departments
Attend meetings with class and customer representatives
Job requirements
Completed degree in shipbuilding
2–10 years’ experience in yacht or passenger ship exterior outfitting
Confident knowledge of relevant shipbuilding regulations
Professional proficiency in English
Good conversational German skills required (spoken and written, plus willingness to improve with offered German language classes.)
Experience with AutoCAD; Cadmatic Outfitting knowledge is a plus
Strong adaptability, analytical thinking, and customer orientation
Willingness to learn and openness to feedback
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
