Project Estimator

We are currently seeking an experienced Estimator to join a hyperscale data centre construction project in Norway.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to support the preparation and management of project costs from initial enquiry through to tender submission.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Review drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Obtain and assess quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare bills of quantities and pricing schedules where required.
• Identify project risks, exclusions and potential cost variations.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and the wider project team.
• Maintain accurate records of costs, quotations and estimates.
• Support the commercial team throughout the tender and pre-construction process.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an Estimator or similar commercial role.
• Strong understanding of construction costs and project pricing.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience obtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with relevant estimating and Microsoft Office software.
• Relevant construction, engineering or commercial qualification is desirable.
