Project Overview: "Expo 2030 Riyadh is a global platform where countries, organizations, and individuals will come together to collaborate. Under the theme “Foresight for Tomorrow,” the Expo promotes sustainable development, innovation, and transformative thinking. The event will be held from October 2030 to March 2031 and is expected to welcome over 40 million visits. The 6 km² Masterplan outlines a comprehensive framework for participation and infrastructure at the Expo. The exhibition space, totaling 491,100 m² GFA, can accommodate up to 197 participating countries and 29 international organizations. Working collaboratively with our customer, Expo 2030 Riyadh Company (ERC), Bechtel will manage the infrastructure program which comprises early works, utilities, and publicly accessible spaces like streets and parks. Our scope on the six-square-kilometer site will transition into a mixed-use legacy development to serve the community after the six-month event is over. The project’s master plan leverages international sustainability standards for urban afforestation, treated water, and energy sources. " Job Summary: In this role, you will manage the organization and direction of project construction activities and oversee total site management including supervision of construction craft personnel, field engineering, contract administration, cost and schedule, field procurement, and finance and accounting. Your leadership will ensure project operations are compliant, safe, timely, within scope and budget, and clients are satisfied. Major Responsibilities: Responsible for overall construction interface management of the project in ensuring the quality, cost, statutory, safety and environment issues and project scheduling requirements are met. Responsible for the overall construction interface management to help the delivery of the construction works, projects, quality control, management reporting, risk planning etc. Maintains effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilized throughout project. Engaging directly with the Customer, Package Manager, other PMC’s and Contractors on all key internal construction interfaces. Responsible for the planning of the construction interface process from inception through to completion. Responsible for preparations of interface plans that are underpinned and aligned with the critical path of the Project. Develop an understanding of the interface risks and how they should be best allocated and managed. Manages and coordinates inputs to ensure continuous construction work front availability through review of look ahead schedules, commodity charts, resource charts, material delivery schedules and any other service requirements including contractor submittals. Education and Experience Requirements: A recognized bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant Engineering discipline (or equivalent) Minimum 20 years of professional experience in a similar role, either in direct construction or construction management role Required Knowledge and Skills: Has proven experience and thorough knowledge in construction of large-scale and complex projects. Thorough knowledge of international standards and specification and codes as applicable, including various Safety procedures and practices associated. Knowledge and experience in the implementation of ES&H and quality management systems Experience in KSA / Middle east / GCC is preferred Must have good oral and written communication skills in English, Arabic speaking is advantageous.
