Overview

Bassett Healthcare Network, in Central New York, is seeking a BC/BE physician to join its existing group of Pulmonologists/Sleep Physicians.

Salary Range: $328,067 – $410,000
Sign-on Bonus: up to $100,000
Location: Cooperstown, NY

Job Description & Responsibilities

Join an established team of 5 Pulmonologists, 5 Intensivists, and 3 Sleep physicians, 4 Advance Practice Clinicians, 4 dedicated outpatient Respiratory Therapists and 1 Nurse Specialist
Clinical time will be split between pulmonary and sleep medicine
This role entails inpatient pulmonary consultations, outpatient clinic, pulmonary procedures and interpretation of sleep studies
Resident and Medical Student supervision and teaching
Weekly multidisciplinary clinic-radiologic conference
Bronchoscopy with EBUS, Point of care Ultrasound
AASM certified Sleep Center
Collaboration with ENT for hypoglossal nerve stimulator therapy
Collaboration with Interventional radiology and Thoracic surgery for procedures
Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region
Become a part of Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive academic health system and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons

Requirements

MD, DO or MBBS
BC/BE
Completion of an accredited USA Pulmonology residency program
NYS Licensure (or eligibilty to obtain)
BLS Certification Required
DEA Required

Salary Range: $328,067 – $410,000.

This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards

Sign-on Bonus: up to $100,000
Bassett offers Physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
