Python Developer / Production Engineer/ HFT | Tier one Global prop trading firm | Singapore

I’m working with a leading global proprietary trading firm looking for a strong engineer to join one of its high-frequency trading teams in Singapore.

This is a hybrid development + production engineering role, sitting across the full research-to-live-trading lifecycle.

What you’ll do:

• Own and troubleshoot live trading and research systems
• Diagnose production issues and fix them at source
• Improve monitoring, reliability and research pipelines
• Develop performance-critical systems in Python/C++
• Optimise ML/GPU workloads and automate operational processes
• Work closely with Quant Researchers in a highly technical environment

What they’re looking for:

• 2–5+ years in production engineering / trading technology
• Strong Python, ideally with C++
• Strong Linux/Bash and hands-on debugging skills
• Experience supporting live trading or real-time systems
• Independent, technically curious and comfortable taking ownership

Experience with GPU/ML optimisation, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD or distributed systems is a strong plus.
