QA Manager, Lab Qualification 80-100% (f/m/d)

Location: the actual location of this job is in Visp, Switzerland. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed. We are looking for an experienced QA Manager, Lab Qualification (f/m/d) to join our QA Lab Qualification team in Visp. This role combines hands-on QA oversight for laboratory qualification activities with leadership of strategic improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will act as a key representative for qualification activities within QC laboratories and drive continuous improvement, digitalization and compliance excellence. What you will do: Serve as QA representative and SME for qualification of laboratory equipment including computerized system validation (CSV). Drive development, implementation and continuous improvement of qualification strategies, standards and lifecycle approaches. Lead and coordinate improvement and digitalization projects, including implementation of new systems and tools. Review and approve qualification lifecycle documentation, including qualification plans and reports, risk assessments and validation deliverables. Provide QA oversight for changes, deviations, investigations, CAPAs and effectiveness checks related to laboratory equipment and systems. Represent QA Lab Qualification during customer audits, regulatory inspections and internal audits. Partner with QC, CSV, IT and other stakeholders to ensure compliant execution of qualification activities. Support and deputize the QA Lab Qualification Lead in strategic initiatives, decision-making, coaching and development of best practices while maintaining involvement in routine qualification activities. What we are looking for: Academic degree in Life Sciences/ Chemistry/ Biotechnology or related discipline. Significant GMP experience within QA, Qualification, CSV and/or QC. Strong knowledge of equipment qualification and computerized system validation principles. Proven experience leading improvement initiatives in a GMP-regulated environment. Good understanding of cGMP requirements and Data Integrity principles. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
