Quality Assurance Manager

Position Summary

Lead the organization's quality systems strategy, regulatory compliance, supplier quality, and internal/external audit programs. Based on the intake discussion, this role is best suited for a strong Quality Engineer or Quality Systems professional with leadership potential—not necessarily a long-tenured manager.

What You'll Be Responsible For

• Lead quality management system (QMS) activities across multiple manufacturing locations.
• Own internal/external audits, supplier quality, corrective actions, and compliance initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement of ISO/IATF/AS quality systems.
• Partner with engineering, operations, and leadership on quality strategy.
• Develop quality metrics and coach quality professionals.
  
  

Ideal Background

• 3+ years of progressive quality engineering or quality systems experience.
• Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100 or similar quality systems.
• Strong auditing background (internal, supplier, or external).
• Background in machining or precision manufacturing strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of GD&T, root cause analysis, CAPA, FMEA; ASQ/CQE and metallurgy are pluses—not required.
