Our team is excited to meet you! Job Overview & Responsibilities As a Quality Engineer, you will serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related issues. You will support production operations, ensure compliance with quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a high-performance aerospace manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Process nonconformance documentation and perform evaluations to restore product conformity Review production planning for accuracy and adequacy to ensure quality data is properly captured Conduct Root Cause Analysis and implement Corrective Actions Write, issue, and review First Article Inspection (FAI) reports in accordance with applicable standards Perform planning reviews to ensure inspection needs and requirements are fully addressed Conduct regular 5S walkdowns to maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas Support continuous improvement initiatives and other assigned quality-related tasks May be required to support remotely outside of standard working hours as needed Required Education Bachelor Required Years of Experience Minimum of 2 years of related work experience Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) field from an accredited college or university Demonstrated experience in root cause analysis, corrective action implementation, and/or issue resolution, preferably within a production or manufacturing environment Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a cross-functional team Ability to support remotely outside of working hours as needed Preferred Qualifications Material Review Board Experience Experience working in a nonconformance management system Proficiency with SAP Quality inspection experience Six Sigma Green/Black Belt What makes ULA different?
