Job Description

• Lead the technical and administrative management of the Exterior Trim Design Team.
• Manage all exterior trim design activities throughout vehicle development projects, from concept design to serial production.
• Actively participate in new exterior trim product design processes.
• Conduct benchmarking and feasibility studies for exterior trim components.
• Ensure exterior trim parts are developed in line with cost, quality, manufacturability, assembly, and serviceability requirements.
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing, purchasing, quality, platform, and testing teams throughout product development processes.
• Manage supplier technical activities and lead design verification and product launch activities.
• Contribute to the establishment of technical standards and processes, development of product families, and implementation of modular design approaches.
• Review and approve 3D and 2D technical documentation.
• Oversee release processes, option management, product structure (BOM) definitions, and updates.
• Lead quality improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Manage technical communication with suppliers and co-design companies, and assign the appropriate team members to related activities.
• Monitor and implement emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Support the technical development of team members, prepare work plans, and ensure project targets are completed on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of product design experience in the automotive, commercial vehicle, bus, railway systems, or similar industries.
• Knowledge of plastic, glass, sheet metal, metal, composite, and aluminum component design.
• Experience with exterior trim systems, joining methods, tolerance management, and manufacturing technologies.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 is preferred.
• Good command of MS Office applications.
• Experience using SAP is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of technical drawings, GD&T, and product development processes.
• Experience in problem-solving methodologies and root cause analysis.
• Good command of English.
• Strong communication skills, teamwork orientation, and a results-driven mindset.
• Willing to live in or relocate to Adana.
