Our High-Risk Antenatal team is looking for enthusiastic and compassionate midwives to join us at an exciting time for maternity services at John Hunter Hospital.
As part of the move to JHH North, our service will transition to the new Antenatal Gynaecology Unit (AGU). The new AGU will bring together the Maternity Assessment Bay (MAB) and High-Risk Antenatal Inpatient Unit within an integrated model of care, providing assessment, monitoring and ongoing care for women with a diverse range of antenatal presentations, including women experiencing complex and high-risk pregnancies.
As part of the AGU team, you will work across antenatal assessment and inpatient care, supporting women requiring monitoring, cervical ripening and preparation for labour, as well as those requiring ongoing complex antenatal care.
This is a unique opportunity to join the team during an important period of transition and contribute to the development of a new integrated model of maternity care within our new facility.
You won’t be working alone. You will be supported by your Midwifery Unit Manager (MUM), Clinical Midwifery Educators (CMEs), Clinical Leads and fellow Registered Midwives. Our broader multidisciplinary team of nursing, medical and allied health staff work collaboratively to achieve the best possible outcomes for women and their families.
