The DSU plays a vital role in supporting the organisation's strategic objectives through Activity Based Funding (ABF), operational planning, information and communication technology services, data quality, Health Information Services, Digital Health Record support, and the provision of decision support services that inform planning, performance monitoring, and quality reporting across the health service. An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated nurse to join the team as a Clinical Documentation Specialist. Working closely with clinicians and clinical coders under the direction of the Clinical Documentation Improvement Nurse Manager, you will play an integral role in advancing Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) initiatives across Canberra Health Services. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to apply your clinical knowledge in a broader organisational context, helping to ensure that clinical documentation is accurate, complete, timely, and reflective of the care delivered.
