We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional patient care in a hybrid orthopedic/trauma care unit located at Nasseff Tower 8 A/B.
Responsibilities include: coordinating nursing care, direct patient care, patient and family education, and transitions of care. The role involves postoperative monitoring, pain management, infection prevention, skin integrity, fall prevention, and patient education. The RN collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and demonstrates leadership through mentoring, quality improvement, and committee participation.
The role supports innovative care initiatives such as developing deterioration detection, piloting new technologies, virtual ICU support, automated vital sign collection, documentation efficiency improvements, and partnering with Virtual RNs (ViRN).
Qualifications: completion of an accredited nursing program, at least one year of RN experience, and current RN licensure. Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and computer skills are essential. BLS certification is required before starting.
