Registered Nurse | Post Anesthesia Care Unit

Days/Evenings, various start times, occasional night call, approximately every 8th weekend, approximately 2 holidays per year In the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at the St. Cloud Hospital, you will work with patients of all ages before and after surgeries. RNs may work in the pre-op area ensuring a patient is prepped for surgery and safe to go to the operating room. After surgery, the RN will work with surgeons and anesthesiologists as the patient wakes up to ensure they are stable before being discharged or brought back to their hospital room. In this fast-paced environment you will need to think on your feet along with being flexible and adaptable. Schedule Full-time | 72 hours every two weeks | St. Cloud Hospital Monday- Friday | Day/evenings | 8-and 12-hr shifts | Various start times throughout the day | approximately every 8 th weekend approximately 2 holidays per year Occasional night call Pay and Benefits Pay based on experience and degree Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $42.86 per hour Bachelor’s in nursing starting at $44.34 per hour Master’s in nursing starting at $45.82 per hour Pay range: $42.86 - $71.51 per hour Earn extra pay for working evening/night/weekend shifts $3,500 hiring bonus and $5,000 relocation bonus for eligible candidates! Tuition reimbursement and college grant programs available Qualifications Graduate from a nursing program and current RN licensure in MN required BSN required within three years of hire Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required within 12 months of hire Previous experience in ICU, CCU, or PACU settings preferred Critical care experience in Hemodynamic monitoring and Basic EKG interpretation preferred To be eligible for the hiring bonus, you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position.
