About this Job *PRN Days* MedStar Franklin Square is seeking an Experienced Psychiatric Nurse to join the Psychiatric Crisis Unit on day shift. Psych Crisis Stabilization Unit Highlights 10-bed busy specialized psychiatric emergency unit, located within the main medical ED Treats pediatric and adult patients Security has a strong partnership and presence with the unit and Baltimore County officer stationed with the Main ED Staffed with psychiatric counselors and RNs Available Roles Per Diem Schedule PRN: four 12-hour shifts in 6 weeks, two weekend shifts, holiday, hard-to-fill shifts Key Responsibilities As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. For PRN roles, at least 2+ years of inpatient psychiatric experience strongly preferred. For the part-time role, at least 1+ years of inpatient psychiatric RN experience highly preferred. Orientation may need to be full-time hours. Active MD RN License or Active Compact State RN and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross). This position has a hiring range of USD $37.10 - USD $56.91 /Hr.
