The Opportunity Our RVT’s must display a positive attitude, enthusiasm and commitment to animal care, while possessing strong organizational skills, excellent telephone and in-person communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Our employees are passionate and show great compassion for animals and their owners and understand the stress that patients and clients are under. As we are a mixed animal practice, RVT’s must be comfortable working around multiple species of animals. Our RVT’s daily duties comprise of the following, but they are not limited to these duties: nursing care, anesthesia, diagnostic imaging and testing, client education and interaction including admissions and discharges, filling prescriptions and attending farm calls with DVM’s as needed. The Ideal Candidate If you are an RVT who possess all of the following we encourage you to apply! Graduate from an accredited two-year veterinary technology program and is registered or eligible for registration. Passionate about veterinary medicine, bringing enthusiasm and a positive attitude to every shift. Thrives on variety and enjoys working with multiple species in a mixed animal setting. Possesses strong problem-solving skills and stays organized, even under pressure. Eager to build connections with both animals and their owners, showing compassion and understanding throughout their care. Physically capable of lifting 35+ pounds without assistance.
