About the Role Are you passionate about agriculture and financial services? We are looking for a dedicated Relationship Manager to join our team and manage our Agri portfolio. This role will see you work alongside the District Manager and Executive Manager to drive growth and deliver exceptional customer service, while building strong relationships across our Agri, Commercial, and Small Business channels in the region. As a Relationship Manager, you will: Manage and grow a portfolio of Agribusiness customers by developing trusted relationships and delivering tailored banking solutions that support their business objectives. Proactively identify opportunities to deepen existing customer relationships, acquire new business, and contribute to sustainable portfolio growth.Work closely with customers to understand their operational, financial, and long-term business needs, providing appropriate lending, transactional, and risk management solutions. Conduct financial analysis, credit assessments, and ongoing portfolio reviews to ensure sound risk management and strong customer outcomes. Develop and execute portfolio and business development plans, leveraging local market insights to strengthen ANZ's presence within the agricultural community. Collaborate with specialist partners, credit teams, and internal stakeholders to deliver seamless customer experiences and timely solutions. Maintain strong engagement with local industry groups, community networks, and agricultural events to build market presence and generate new business opportunities. Ensure all customer interactions, lending activities, and portfolio management practices comply with regulatory requirements, risk policies, and best practice standards. What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Proven ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships, delivering exceptional service and high levels of customer satisfaction. Solid experience in financial services, particularly within Agri, rural, or commercial banking, supported by tertiary qualifications in business, finance, or a related discipline. Strong understanding of commercial banking products, credit assessment, cash flow analysis, portfolio management, and appropriate credit structuring solutions. Ability to understand customers’ business goals and provide tailored banking solutions, including negotiating lending and product terms that support sustainable growth. Excellent organisational, planning, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage a diverse portfolio and collaborate effectively with customers, colleagues, and partners. Strong commercial acumen, risk management capability, and knowledge of regulatory requirements, underpinned by high ethical standards, integrity, and a growth mindset.
