Job Description: The Global Graduate Programme – A Fast-Track to Leadership The Sibelco Global Graduate Programme is a two-year rotational programme consisting of two one-year assignments in key operational and commercial roles. Participants gain hands-on experience with real business projects, ensuring early responsibility and exposure to strategic decision-making. Participants receive a permanent contract from the start, ensuring long-term career prospects within Sibelco. As part of this programme, we are recruiting a Graduate Reliability engineer for a one-year assignment focused on using operational and maintenance data, advanced analytics and AI to improve maintenance effectiveness and production performance at the Robilante Cluster in Italy. Graduates must also be open to spending their second year in a different cluster outside their initial region to gain international or regional business exposure. Your Impact in This Role: • Analyse recurring operational and maintenance challenges across the Robilante plant • Analyse historical maintenance data to identify failure patterns, root causes and interdependencies • Explore the use of AI and advanced analytics to identify patterns and predict potential equipment failures • Support the development of a data-driven predictive maintenance approach to improve maintenance planning • Identify opportunities to optimize spare-parts inventory and reduce the operational impact of maintenance activities • Develop dashboards and analytical tools to monitor maintenance and operational performance • Evaluate the potential impact of the proposed solutions on production reliability and maintenance effectiveness • Develop a scalable methodology or prototype that could potentially be adapted to other Sibelco plants • Present findings, recommendations and improvement opportunities to plant management and relevant stakeholders What You Bring to the Table • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities • Interest in artificial intelligence, predictive analytics and data-driven decision-making • Knowledge of maintenance, manufacturing or operational processes is an advantage • Strong data analysis skills and experience working with large datasets • Familiarity with AI, machine learning or predictive modelling concepts • Good knowledge of Excel and preferably experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools • Structured approach to problem-solving and ability to translate data into actionable recommendations • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills • Fluent English communication skills • Willingness to work in an operational plant environment Our Selection Process • Application Submission – CV & Cover/Motivation Letter • First Interview – Initial screening and motivation discussion • Assessment – Evaluation of key competencies • Business Case Study – Real-world problem-solving challenge • Panel Interview – Final interview with key stakeholders Why Join Us? • A permanent contract from the start • Competitive salary • Relocation support • Company-sponsored transportation and housing support • Real responsibility and hands-on experience • Opportunity to work on a real operational improvement project • Exposure to AI and advanced analytics in an industrial environment • Structured career path • Performance guidance and mentorship • International/regional exposure Employee Type: Graduate Why Join Us?
