Job Description Summary This versatile engineering role will provide front line engineering support across various advanced manufacturing and repair technologies to our service centers within GE Vernova. Work alongside global development teams to develop, industrialize and maintain repair technologies that allow our products to perform over their lifecycle. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, quality assurance, and global collaboration. This role could have exposure to both Combustion and Hot Gas Path technologies. Job Description Job Description Key Responsibilities: Analyze and resolve Repair Non-Conformance Notifications (NCNs) in a timely and high quality manner. Maintain and manage repair qualifications for service centers, ensuring compliance and quality control. Lead the AMRT engineering support for the service center’s ‘Built in Quality’ (BIQ) initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Supply Chain, and Advanced Manufacturing and Repair Technology. Establish and maintain repair engineering instruction (REI) requirements for gas turbine components. Engage in Kaizen initiatives to enhance efficiency and assist in maintaining and updating our engineering processes. Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations to address quality and process issues. Support deployment of industrial robot applications and provide technical support for robotic systems. Expect occasional travel (5%) to global engineering centers and service centers. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Electrical, Computer Science, or related field) from an accredited university. Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in gas turbine design, repair, manufacturing, or services. Experience in managing gas turbine component and process qualifications (new-make or repair). Experience in analyzing, reviewing and dispositioning non-conformances of gas turbine parts (new-make or repair). Occasional travel (5%) to global engineering centers, service centers and vendor locations. Desired Qualifications: Strong focus on safety, quality, execution, and process rigor. Experience performing hands on process development with any of the following - additive technologies, fixture development, machining including mills and EDMs, laser applications like cladding and ablation, joining/brazing, metallic and ceramic coating and inspection technologies. Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings. Familiarity with using data analytics including, python, p-code and other computer and classical machine learning programming. This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
