About the Role

The R&D RF & Electronics Lab Engineer will assist in design, assembly, and test telecommunication systems covering multiple technologies. This role is responsible for testing and troubleshooting product performance including rework/soldering/rerouting of system's elements, bringing-up subsystems/boards, building testing setups, testing, running analysis and debugging systems/boards which are under development. The engineer will perform functional tests of complex RF components, RF subsystems, digital and analog components, power supplies, filters, and other electrical elements, create and perform Factory Acceptance Test and field tests, write and follow test plan and procedures, generate clear and concise test reports, design, build, and program automation solutions for equipment/systems in the labs, perform test bench design, PCB debugging and root cause failure analysis, and creation of logbooks and NCRs for each PCB.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in design, assembly, and test telecommunication systems covering multiple technologies

Qualifications Required

• BSc in Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering is required
• 8 years of experience in RF electronics labs

Preferred

• MSc in RF Systems or Telecommunication Systems
• 10+ years in RF & electronics labs working in electronic warfare systems
• PhD in RF Systems or Telecommunication Systems
• 15+ years in RF & electronics labs working in electronic warfare systems

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent RF knowledge: Able to understand complex designs, layouts and hands on debugging issues
• Excellent Electronics Knowledge: Able to understand schematics and hands on debugging issues
• Excellent knowledge and hands on RF Lab equipment such as Signal Analyzer, Signal Generators, VNAs, etc.
• Excellent knowledge and hands on using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers
