Position Details: *Sign on Bonus for both New Grads & Experienced RN's* NO CONTRACT The Mercy Joplin MedSurg Service Line is made up of several specialty units that will provide experience with patient populations with a varying range of diagnoses and care needs. Functionally, these units house and care for patients who are preparing for or recovering from medical and surgical interventions. Whether you are a new grad nurse looking to build a strong base before launching into your future career/educational plans or an experienced nurse who enjoys variety in their everyday work, Med Surg is the place for you! Our Cardiac Unit is a 24-private bed unit that serves a wide range of patients, including those with general cardiac needs, pre and post procedure cares, cardiac dysrhythmias, cardiac drips, and vascular conditions & procedures. Our Nurses work on a support team of educators, PCA/PCT's, Case Managers, Respiratory Therapists, Dieticians, PT/OT and Speech Therapists. You will earn credentials in ACLS and build strong clinical skills for our cardiac and vascular population. *Day and Night Shifts Available! * **Great steppingstone into our ICU and ED units** Qualifications: Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school License: Current RN license in our state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association Incentives: This position is eligible for a Sign on Bonus, paid out over 2 years.
