Location: Baylor Medical Center - Irving, Texas | 2001 N MacArthur Blvd, Irving, 75061 Shift: Afternoon Shift | 3pm - 3am Emergency Department Patient Population: All ages, acuities, and stages of life. Direct patient care and documentation of patients presenting to ED with variety of complaints, triage, main sections with higher acuity, Express care/fast track with lower acuity/clinic type patients. Staff rotate to various areas based on experience and training. Patient Ratios: 4:1 Number of Beds: 55 Department Specifics : Currently seeking Level III Trauma designation, Primary Stroke Center, Primary Chest Pain Center, wonderful EMS partnership, Radiology with CT and Sono within ED, Self-Scheduling with voluntary on call, Certified Emergency Nurse fees paid, Evidence Based Practice and Process Improvement projects ongoing, Trauma training, Express Care/fast track with lower acuity/clinic type patients, Staff rotate to various areas based on experience and training. Qualifications Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program License/Certification RN – Registered Nurse with min of 1 year ED Experience BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire) ENPC and TNCC Qualifications Grad of an Accredited Program Specialized field of study should be nursing. RN license. Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
