Requirements
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related discipline.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Experience coding, scripting, and automating in at least one language such as Python, C, C++, Java, Ruby, or PowerShell.
- Experience with open-source technologies including Linux, Spring, and React.
- Experience with automating and simplifying team development, test, and operations processes.
- Experience with distributed computing, programs, and systems.
- Experience with TCP/ICP networking fundamentals and application of IP protocols such as DNS, DHCP, NTP, SMTP, and SNMP.
Responsibilities
- Solve straightforward technical problems at the component level with tested, maintainable solutions.
- Enable greater team agility via improvements to design, automation, development, test, or operations.
- Identify risks and mitigations in designs solving defined technical problems and make trade-offs.
- Develop software for small tools and applications that is tested, logical, and maintainable.
- Develop technology solutions that are simple to start but may have opportunities for optimizations, efficiencies, or scaling.
- Write clear, accurate, and concise documentation.
- Perform basic troubleshooting to mitigate issues for team or customer impact.
- Perform simulations on workcell or equipment performance and publish metrics to monitor program effectiveness.
