The Opportunity

A rare leadership opportunity is available at Porsche Centre Canberra – one of the most iconic and sought-after sports car brands in the world. We are seeking an accomplished and commercially driven Sales Manager to lead the next phase of growth for our Canberra dealership.

This role is ideal for an experienced automotive sales leader with a proven track record in a prestige or luxury environment. Reporting to the Dealer Principal, you will take end-to-end ownership of new and pre-owned Porsche sales – driving volume, profitability, and an exceptional customer experience, while building and mentoring a high-performing sales team.

If you're an established sales leader in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, or anywhere else in the country and Canberra isn't yet on your radar, it should be. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all new and used Porsche sales operations, including after-market products and services
• Drive revenue growth, gross profit, and market share performance
• Lead, develop, and motivate the Sales Team
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Porsche Cars Australia
• Deliver a customer experience that reflects the exclusivity of the Porsche brand
• Manage inventory, order banks, and vehicle allocation
• Utilise data, CRM systems, and pipeline management to drive results
• Contribute to dealership budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial performance
• Represent the Porsche brand at customer, community, and brand events

You Will Bring

• Proven experience as a Sales Manager or senior sales leader within a luxury or prestige automotive dealership
• A track record of driving sales growth and hitting gross profit targets
• Strong knowledge of CRM, customer relationship management, and pipeline management
• Commercial acumen and comfort working within structured reporting environments
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to coach and develop a sales team
• The professionalism and credibility to represent one of the world's most iconic performance brands
• A results-driven approach and high level of accountability
• Previous experience with Porsche or another luxury automotive brand is highly regarded
