About the Role

We are looking for an SAP Business One Integration Developer to build and support integrations between our third-party applications and our SAP Business One system. Our environment already has the SAP B1 Service Layer configured, and we need someone who can design, implement, and maintain reliable two-way data flows — sending data into SAP and pulling data back out — and keep the associated workflows running smoothly. You will own the integration end to end: designing the data mapping, validating that the data is correct, testing, and resolving any operational issues that arise. You will also coordinate with our internal team to keep development on track.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain integrations between third-party applications and SAP Business One using the Service Layer (REST/OData).
• Implement two-way data exchange—creating, reading, and updating SAP B1 business objects such as Business Partners, Items, Sales/Purchase documents, and Inventory.
• Map and transform data between external applications and SAP B1, and handle validation, errors, and retries.
• Design and maintain the business workflows that depend on these integrations.
• Test integrations thoroughly and verify data accuracy on both sides.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in the integrations and workflows.
• Follow up with and coordinate the internal development team to keep projects moving.
• Document the integration architecture, data mappings, and processes.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP Business One integrations.
• Strong working knowledge of the SAP B1 Service Layer (REST/OData) and the SAP B1 data model / business objects.
• Experience with the DI API and/or SAP B1 SDK.
• Solid understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and JSON/XML data handling.
• Good SQL skills (SAP HANA or Microsoft SQL Server).
• Ability to understand business processes and validate that integrated data is correct.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to own and resolve operational issues independently.
• Good communication and team-coordination skills.

Preferred / Bonus

• Experience with integration frameworks or middleware (B1if / SAP Business One Integration Framework, Boyum, or similar).
• Familiarity with using AI coding assistants to accelerate development.
• Experience integrating ERP systems with external web or mobile applications.
