The Cutover Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire cutover process during the implementation of SAP S/4HANA. This role requires a solid understanding of cutover methodologies, strong project management capabilities, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all required data, configurations, and technical prerequisites are in place for the cutover. Conduct cutover rehearsals to validate readiness and proactively identify issues or risks. Communicate cutover plans, timelines, and status updates to key stakeholders and project team members. Manage all cutover activities during the go-live phase, including data migration, system transitions, issue resolution, and post-go-live support. Identify, propose, and implement measures to reduce downtime and ensure a stable transition. Structured and documentation-oriented working style. Education Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, business administration, or equivalent (master’s degree/diploma preferred), or comparable professional experience. Experience and Knowledge At least two years of experience in Project Management. Experience with data migration and system cutovers. Knowledge of change management principles and best practices. Interest in digital innovation, automation, and emerging technologies (e.g., AI, Power BI, Azure DevOps). Basic understanding or willingness to learn automation and AI-driven tools is a plus. Personality and Working Practice Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results. Structured and documentation-oriented working style. Language English required; German is a plus.
