SAP FICO Functional Consultant

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate!

Experience: 8-10 years.

Hybrid: 2 days Work from Home 3 days Work from Office

Your Profile & DNA:

We are looking for an experienced Independent Finance SAP Consultant with strong expertise in SAP FICO, combined with in-depth knowledge of Tax, Intercompany Accounting, and Transfer Pricing.

The ideal consultant will support temporary projects, SAP implementations, finance transformations, and optimization initiatives within complex international environments.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Support SAP FICO implementations, enhancements, and optimization projects.
• Analyse and improve complex financial processes.
• Support tax compliance, intercompany accounting, and transfer pricing structures.
• Translate finance and tax requirements into practical SAP solutions.
• Work closely with Finance, Tax, IT, business stakeholders, and external advisors.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, data quality, and compliance.
• Quickly integrate into existing project teams and deliver results independently.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP FICO.
• Solid background in Finance and Accounting processes.
• In-depth knowledge of tax and tax compliance.
• Strong understanding of intercompany transactions and accounting.
• Strong knowledge of transfer pricing.
• Experience working in complex international environments.
• Experience supporting SAP projects, implementations, optimizations, or transformations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently analyse requirements and deliver practical solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
