Role Description The SAP Financial Accounting Senior Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Valletta, Malta. This role is responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing SAP FICO solutions that support clients’ financial and accounting processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating them into SAP configurations, performing system testing, and supporting end users during and after implementation. The consultant will prepare documentation, deliver training, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that solutions are aligned with business objectives and compliance standards. The role also involves advising clients on best practices in financial process optimization and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the consultancy.

Qualifications

• Strong Finance and Accounting knowledge, with the ability to interpret financial processes and requirements.
• Hands-on expertise in SAP FICO, including configuration, integration, and troubleshooting.
• Robust Analytical Skills to diagnose issues, assess data, and propose effective solutions.
• Proven Consulting experience, including client-facing work, requirements gathering, and solution delivery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience in full lifecycle SAP implementations or major upgrades in financial modules.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects or workstreams.
• Professional certifications in SAP or accounting (such as SAP FI/CO certification or ACCA/CPA) are considered an asset.
