The Role

As a Science Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and practical Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 in your specialist subject where appropriate.
• Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the English National Curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Monitor student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to continually enhance teaching and learning.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and extracurricular opportunities.
  
  
  

The Ideal Candidate

You will have:

• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, BEd or equivalent) with QTS or equivalent.
• A degree in Science or a relevant specialist subject (Biology, Chemistry or Physics).
• A strong understanding of the English National Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A passion for inspiring young people to succeed.
• A collaborative approach and commitment to continuous professional development.
