About the role MSS Security is seeking Security Officers who hold or are eligible for a Positing Vetting Clearance to join our team in Melbourne. We have positions available at a high-profile data centre, with sponsorship available for candidates who do not yet hold a clearance. Onsite parking is available once clearance is obtained and the successful candidate is placed at the new site, with the exception of City-based sites. Employees holding a Positive Vetting Clearance will receive a competitive allowance of up to $20,000 per year. Duties include but are not limited to: Conducting foot patrols, ensuring people are safe and the building is secure. Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorised individuals enter. Oversee CCTV systems to detect and respond to security threats. Provide excellent customer service and assist visitors with inquiries. Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents or emergencies. Requirements: Must be an Australian Citizen . Hold a current Baseline, NV1, NV2 or PV Clearance ( or willing to obtain ). Valid Victorian Security Licence. Valid Victorian Drivers Licence. Valid First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willing to obtain). 24/7 Availability to work a rotating roster. Ability to walk up to 15,000 steps per shift as part of routine patrols.
