We're looking for a Senior Account Director to become the strategic and operational backbone of our Sydney account service team - someone who can build trust with senior FMCG clients, run projects like clockwork, and free our Managing Director up to focus on growing the business.

The Opportunity

This is a senior, client-facing leadership role at the heart of our Sydney studio (a tight-knit team of 9 - 6 in creative, and an account service team growing from 3 to 4 with this hire). You'll take the reins on two pillar FMCG accounts - global household-name businesses spanning multiple well-known brands - plus a portfolio of smaller clients, with scope to flex up to around 10 relationships as projects come and go.

You'll be the client's champion and the agency's translator - leading the strategic approach across projects, keeping creative output tightly aligned to the brief, and driving timelines so work is delivered on time, on budget and profitably. Over time, there's a genuine path to becoming our Managing Director's right hand as the team continues to grow.

What You'll Do

• Own and grow key client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor from brand manager through to Head of Marketing
• Lead the strategic approach on every project, ensuring creative output answers the brief and client expectations
• Drive project timelines and studio coordination, keeping delivery tight, on-budget and profitable
• Prepare accurate estimates, negotiate scope, and manage revenue targets across your accounts
• Build compelling rationales and lead the strategic side of client presentations - bringing the team's thinking to life
• Bridge client and studio, briefing designers with clarity and enthusiasm, and giving considered feedback on creative work
• Mentor and develop junior account service team members

About You

• Solid account service experience in a design, branding or creative agency environment
• A track record of strong project management and relationship-building - these are the two non-negotiables for this role
• Comfortable managing senior stakeholder relationships; deep category strategy experience is a bonus but not essential
• FMCG experience is a plus, not a prerequisite - we're just as interested in someone who can quickly get up to speed and genuinely enjoys the pace of agency life (smaller budgets, faster turnarounds, more variety)
• Based in or willing to relocate to Sydney, working in-office five days a week
• A collaborative, enthusiastic operator who takes pride in the work and the people around them
